Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree program aims to develop students’ intellectual abilities through a comprehensive blend of business and general education. Program Learning Objectives (PLO)
Primary objectives of this program include equipping students with the knowledge and ability to:
- Demonstrate effective writing skills. (ILO1)
- Demonstrate effective oral presentation skills. (ILO2)
- Demonstrate advanced elements of critical thinking to analyze issues, solve problems, and make business decisions. (ILO3)
- Integrate learning in the areas of general education, accounting, economics, management, and technology and apply them to business strategy and policy. (ILO4)
- Evaluate an ethical dilemma and make an appropriate recommendation to address it based on Christian ethics. (ILO4)
Mode of Instruction
Instruction can be completed through classroom-hybrid and/or online instructional methodologies.
Admission Requirements
Education: IAU requires either evidence of an earned high school diploma, General Educational Development (GED) test, or the successful completion of 12 semester units earned at an appropriately accredited postsecondary institution or foreign equivalent. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.
Professional Experience: IAU recommends 1 year of full-time professional experience, in any organization, including, but not limited to, private, public, for-profit, non-profit, start-ups, or established corporate organizations.
Information Technology: IAU requires students to possess computer and internet skills sufficient to effectively participate in IAU’s pedagogical model and conduct research at the undergraduate level.
Maximum Total Credit Awarded is 90 units:
- Transfer Credit (TRC): 90 units
- Standardized Exam Credit (SEC): 90 units
- Prior Experiential Learning Credit (PEL): Of the first 60 semester credits awarded a student in an undergraduate program, no more than 15 semester credits. Of the second 60 semester credits (i.e., credits 61–120) awarded a student in an undergraduate program, no more than 15 semester credits.

Graduation Requirement
- Complete 120 semester units of prescribed curriculum.
